黛比·兰姆·奥西 is the Coordinator of Multilingual Student Programs, Co-Coordinator of the Multilingual Student Course Cluster, advisor to the campus Multicultural Club, and campus liaison for Penn State’s Directorate of International Student and Scholar Advising (DISSA).  她得了B.A. in 英语 (with minors in Writing and Secondary Education) from Loyola University Maryland and her M.A. in TESOL from West Chester University.   She has previously taught in Thailand and has traveled to 13 countries in Europe and Asia.  她的书 Teaching Developmental Immigrant Students in Undergraduate Programs:  A Practical Guide (与Dr. Myra Goldschmidt) addresses the academic and holistic needs of a growing multilingual student population by sharing practices used in Penn State Brandywine’s highly successful Multilingual Student Course Cluster.  Her latest publication is a co-authored chapter that discusses a partnership between her multilingual First-Year Composition students and pre-service teachers in West Chester University’s M.A. TESOL程序. 

夫人. Ousey’s teaching and research interests include multilingual and bicultural learners, developmental and at-risk learners, 写作教学, international student engagement, student transitions to college, and comprehensive approaches to student success in college.  She is privileged to learn from the global citizens she encounters in her classroom and sees the diversity of the Penn State Brandywine student body as one of its greatest strengths.
